These more general updates have also been made in this hot-fix to assist in smoothing out some of the minor difficulties in our user experience. Game crashes and screen freezes due to specific parameters have now been fixed, which we hope will improve the stability of the platform which some users may face issues with. Thanks to these changes and further bug fixes, our new AI model will now allow the unmanned cars to follow their lines and drive more consistently under all track conditions including full-course yellows, to rejoin races after incidents with more care and consideration, and to no longer mispredict the movements of other cars allowing for you to race them more closely and with the same level of trust as you would have for a real racing driver. ![]() To purchase the Formula E Pack, including Gen1/Gen2/Gen3 cars and all 6 circuits, CLICK HERE!Īlongside these changes, a large number of improvements have also been made to our AI as we continue to revamp the offline experience on our platform. I am not sure how many play hours I have registered on Steam for rF2 but you can subtract a good 5 of those as me staring at the logo.We have an exciting 2023 Q2 build update which has just been released for you to dive head first into! PS It doesn't seem to like mouse clicks/movement or anything after you see the splash screen so TAKE YOUR HAND OFF IT. Had the issue since I purchased rF2 I dread buying DLC or adding mods wondering if this will be the final nail in the coffin but seem to get thru. At least until they release another update or you get a dodgy mod. Seems once you suffer through that the first time it takes a little less time the next ie few minutes. If you leave it long enough in most cases anywhere up to 15 minutes it should kick in. ![]() Once you click Play and the launcher opens (I usually minimise my steam so I can see DT Task Manager and rF2 splash only.) Click to start and after a while you will see it sit there not responding. Turn Beta off and validate files(AGAIN) then you can open Task Manager and leave it sit on DT for a visual of the Not Responding and helps kill it if gets out of hand. ![]()
